Have you ever thought that you weren’t good enough?
Do you catch yourself saying or thinking...
I am not good enough!?
How does that tend to make you feel?
I’ve been there... and I can tell you from experience that it makes me feel... doubt, pity, scared, lazy...etc. And CLEARLY
This is No good for the self-esteem or any forward progress.
The truth is, everyone is good enough.
You might not have the skills or tools to achieve what you are working towards, yet.
YET.
But don’t let that hold you back from getting started on the things that matter to you.
EX:
Blogging, putting my thoughts out there, unsure of the outcome (yet)!
I am LEARNING and I am a Work in Progress.
Share the things I am learning more about, too.
Bettering myself: growing, stretching, expanding...
Gaining confidence.
Being Vulnerable about things I need to improve and ways to phrase and frame things better.
Overall, What I am learning and what I know is:
You Gotta get yourself in the ring!
You have to try and fail and try again!
As the ever so brilliant Brené Brown believes, and we should too,
"You can't get to courage without rumbling with vulnerability."
This advice isn’t rocket science..
The crazy thing is that we all know what to do.....
Buuuuut.... we don’t do what we know.
One way that we can start taking action to improve the quality of our thoughts
...and our lives....
Is by rewiring these ANTS (Automatic Negative Thoughts),
and Instead of saying, I am not good enough.
What can we say???
A New Positive Thought –
I am a work in progress.
I am worthy of all I desire in this life, just like everyone else.
I haven’t learned that, YET!!!
Can you think of any more?? Any others?
Don’t limit yourself, because everyone is good enough!!
Yes, YOU ARE!
It just takes noticing, analyzing and a little tweaking of this disempowering self-talk..
Let's take care of our ANTS and start shifting them into more empowering messaging!!
Let's start NOTICING and RENAMING our negative thoughts.
Please share your thoughts in the comments or message me.
I would love to hear your thoughts on how you might reframe this disempowering thought,
“I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH”
to a more Empowering one!?!?!
Have a thoughtful day!
